Dom Charbielin

One of Poland’s largest wine producers, with 42 hectares of vineyards in the Opole region. The estate focuses on white grape varieties such as Souvignier Gris, Johanniter, Muscaris, and Solaris. Committed to organic practices, the vineyard minimizes chemical intervention to produce wines that are as natural as possible. Each bottle reflects a philosophy that blends tradition with modernity.

Souvignier Gris

    Style: Crisp, refreshing, citrusy, tropical-herbal

    Vinification
    The wine fermented at a low temperature in stainless steel for nearly three weeks, then matured for an additional 3 months in tanks, followed by several weeks of bottle aging.

    Tasting Notes
    Fresh and refreshing. Rich in aromas and quite solidly structured. Intensely citrusy and fruity, with a distinctive tropical and herbal note typical of the variety on the finish. Serve lightly chilled. Its intensity and structure make it versatile for food pairing.

    Vintage Notes
    The 2023 vintage was exceptionally good for winemakers. After heavy summer rains, a very warm autumn followed, resulting in optimal ripeness and excellent grape quality. The grapes used for this wine were carefully selected and harvested on October 17, 2023.

Muscaris

    Vinification
    The wine fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel for 21 days, then matured for an additional 3 months in a steel tank.

    Tasting Notes
    Intensely aromatic, with scents of peaches, apricots, lime zest, and flowers. On the palate, it is lively, crisp, and distinctive, making it surprising and unconventional in style. Serve chilled. It pairs excellently as a classic match with seafood as well as with distinctly fatty dishes.

    Vintage Notes
    The 2024 vintage was a major challenge for most winemakers. Spring frosts affected many Polish vineyards. In Charbielin, thanks to the frost protection system, we were able to save the vast majority of the harvest. Thanks to a long, dry, and sunny autumn, we can consider the harvest successful.

Charbielin Saint Laurent 2023 wine from POland

Saint Laurent

    Style: Light, smooth, fruity, low-tannin red

    Fermentation temperature: 26°C

    Vinification
    The wine fermented in stainless steel at a temperature suitable for red wines—around 26°C. Thanks to controlled fermentation, the result is a delicate, velvety wine with low tannins and high fruitiness.

    Tasting Notes
    Light and pleasant wine with a beautiful light garnet color. Aromas are dominated by nuances of cherry, sour cherry, and currant. The wine has gentle tannins, resulting in a smooth finish. Pairs very well with light meat dishes, especially grilled duck breast with cranberry sauce.
