cabernet blanc / qvevri
The wine has a golden-orange colour, resulting from extended skin contact during fermentation. On the nose, notes of tea, dried flowers, and ripe apples are evident. The acidity is well balanced, giving the wine freshness despite its depth and complexity. On the palate, the wine is rich, with pronounced yet refined tannins that create a distinctive texture. Eight months of skin maceration have given the wine a full, clearly defined structure. Production follows a minimal-intervention approach, typical of orange wines.
Our favourite food pairings:
mussels prepared in an intense, spiced sauce
dark chocolate (minimum 80% cocoa)
hummus in various styles, for example with sun-dried tomatoes
Grape Variety: Cabernet Blanc
Origin: West Pomerania
Winemaker: Kojder
Tech Details: alcohol 12%, residual sugar 0g/l
Style: Orange wine (skin-contact white), structured, made with minimal intervention.
Vinification: 8 months on the skins in qvevri
Source: directly from the winemaker
